So, I recently went lighter with my hair (As you can tell) and I could not be happier with the results. I’ll post some before and after pics below. My hair was the darkest brown, close to black and the only girl I trust with my hair is Angie Monroy-Rodriguez. She’s located in Burlingame, CA. She’s been doing my hair for the last few years now, before I decided to go back to my natural roots. And now I’m back again (lol)! Since my hair was pretty dark to begin with, I was honestly surprised how light it came out in the first session. My ultimate goal is reach the sliver/grey color. I know, scary but I want it soo bad! Therefore, my next session will be hopefully sometime in October. I’m currently using the Joico Color Balance Blue Shampoo & Conditioner to maintain the color and prevent any brassiness from coming through. I definitely recommend Angie for your ombré and balayage needs. This girl is so talented that she’s booked way out in advance, so I would book her sooner than later!
