Fast & Furious

Hey Guy’s,

What’s up! Sooo, I will always love anything related to the Fast & the Furious movies. This outfit inspo came from that. I’ve always been obsessed with mechanic suits with the patch look. When I saw this jumpsuit from Amiclubwear.com, I knew I immediately had to have it! I made it my own by adding a couple of patches on it and I still want to add more. This jumpsuit was actually really comfortable and I had so much fun wearing it.

Places/Things You Can Do w/ This Outfit:

New Year’s Bling

Happy New Year Everybody!

I know, a little late. But, better late than never. lol

I hope everyone’s 2019 is off to a great start. Mine started out eventful, definitely productive, but also a bit shocking. I saw this clip from John Gray on IG saying that 2018 was designed to show you who everybody is. God had to reveal character, motive, intent, schemes, and plots. He had to show you the people who were not for you, but only for themselves. He had to show you all that before the year ended because they couldn’t come or stay in your 2019. So yeah, I left all that and them in 2018. I also thought how crazy it was that he was so on point with life. In the end, I see it all as a blessing in disguise because karma is only a bitch if you are. Therefore, in 2019 I hope we can all love ourselves, are humble, are kind to one another, and do what makes you happy. Life is too short not to live life to the fullest. ❤

Oh! And my lovely friend, Julia mentioned if you wear red underwear going into the new year, that it will guarantee luck and success for the year ahead. I tired it this year and I’m excited to see what 2019 has to unfold.

To be continued.. lol

That 70’s Look

Hola Mi Gente,

I hope you all enjoying the new season upon us, I definitely already started listening to Christmas music (#dontjudgeme). I’ve must of lived during the 70’s era because the style still calls to me. I was inspired by fall to come up with this look. This is the time of the year where the weather gets unpredictable. You bring a sweater to work in the morning because it’s chilly and by noon you’re sweating bullets. #thestruggle

I adore a skirt and boot combo, I think it’s effortlessly sexy. I added the thigh high boots and faux fur vest to keep me warm and to complete the look. I hope this look inspires you to be out there, be different, wear what YOU feel great in and look good doing it. Scroll down below for outfit details. Besos!

Burning Man: Decompression Party

Hey Guy’s,

I hope you all are having a wonderful October!

I just wanted to make a quick post about my baby Burning Man experience that happened over the weekend. I’ve been on a festival roll, so the fact that I couldn’t make to Burning Man this year was a bummer. But, I’m so glad I was able to get a little taste of it at the Decompression Party, here in San Francisco. Overall, I absolutely LOVED it! Like, you guys don’t understand how much I love this shit. lol

I kind of lost count of how many different DJ/dance areas there were, but I counted 5. Might have been a couple more, any-who they all had their own theme and it was nothing but good vibes. House/Deep house music will always be one of my favorite types of music, so to get a variety of it was amazing. Check out some photos, outfit details and a mini video down below. And Burning Man, I’ll see you next year!! ❤

Shorts of the Season

Hey Guy’s,

So, if you’ve been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed I’ve been wearing denim shorts a lot lately. It’a actually been hot in the city and I ain’t mad at all about it. Except, when underboob sweat is involved. #thestruggle

But, in all my recent photos, it has been the same pair shorts. I’m seriously obsessed with this pair and brand at the moment. I literally just ordered another pair from them via Revolve. Another clothing website I’m obsessed with, but we get to them in another post.

The brand is called GRLFRND. So, when I first got them, they were more snug than they are now. Other than trying them on once before, I really just wore them for the first time at Coachella. I’ll post some pictures below to show how they stretch over time.  I wear this pair religiously! I wear them out to run errands, to brunch, the beach, when I’m hungover and need to slap on something cute. #theymygoto

One thing to consider about this brand. So, I ordered my size which is a 26, but with this type of denim it does stretch out over time. You’ll definetly notice when it’s time to wash them too, since they start getting pretty loose. Once you wash them they are more fit as well.  Like, the new pair I just ordered is a size 25, so I’m excited to see how they will end up fitting. So now, I can have some tighter shorts and some loose cute shorts for when I’m feeling fat..hehe.

What are you favorite pair of shorts for Summer 18′?

I <3 NOLA!

Hey Guys,

So, I just got back from New Orleans with my BFF’s/Roomies and we had the most amazing time ever! This was our first time there and I think we did it just right. Our flight was at 7am on a Saturday and I still wasn’t done packing when I woke up in the morning. We made it to SFO and we just had to start off with Bloody Mary’s with a double shot because the Birthday Girl (Bailey) was readddyyy..lol.

We were already drunk by the time we got on the plane (smh) and I’m sorry to those passengers around us that had to listen to our nonsense and loud laughs, but I definitely won’t forget a great moment like that (I’m all about the little things). But anywho, we had a layover in Dallas, TX and finally made it to New Orleans in the afternoon. From the MSY (NOLA Airport) it was about 20-25mins where we were staying. We stayed at an Airbnb in the French Quarter, which was so perfect because it was walking distance from everything major.

That night we strolled the famous Bourbon Street in our costumes. It reminded me of a more chill Vegas, but there was literally streets with endless bars back to back. There’s live music in every other bar. So many people walking in the middle of the street with drinks in hands, trying to figure out which bar they should check out next, including us. And my favorite costume of the night was, of course, a T-Rex.

IMG_2223FullSizeRender-1Most of the bars are free of charge, you might find 1 or 2 that might charge $5. I only remember two bars that were my absolute favorite, not because I was drunk all weekend but because I loved the atmosphere in both. I did like another one, but it didn’t have a name displayed anywhere. Therefore, I can now see why people who were trying to recommend places to go, couldn’t..haha. My favorite bar throughout the whole trip was Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop. Apparently, it was built in the early 1700’s and it’s reputed to be the oldest structure used as a bar in the United States. Also, the bar was pretty close to where we were staying, therefore we always ended up there before we headed back to our place.IMG_2328

On Sunday, we made our way to Brunch at Surrey’s Cafe. Hmmmm.IMG_2279

We were walking back towards the French Quarter and we saw the cutest tea spot named Tea Witch Cafe.IMG_2119After we got our energizing tea, we then heading to the pier to check out the Mississippi River.

And what was right next to it? The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk! Of course, we checked it out. We hit up Forever 21 to find a couple of pieces to finalize our Gypsy costumes for the night. We also stopped by the Boutique du Vampyre on the way back. The vampire lady there let us know this was the only vampire shop in the United States. She also let us know about this secret private lounge bar where you would need to say “The vampire sent us” in order to get in. So, you know we had to check that before our trip ended.

IMG_2122

That’s all we had time for since we had to get back and start getting ready for the Voodoo Festival. This was the main night that we were going all out for our costumes. In my head, I planned on wearing a rose gold bralette and some beige jeweled sandals. I’m so glad I didn’t wear the sandals since it was a little muddy at the Voodoo Festival. In the end, I was so happy with the end result of my gypsy costume.

But OMG, even though it took forever to get in, we had the most amazing time at the Voodoo Festival!! We saw The Head and the Heart, The Killers, Dillon Francis and Miguel. The Killers were my fav by far, they were just too good. This was one of the best times of my life. But, it’s always a great time with my girls. ❤

The AFTERMATH! Because we really needed it..haha. I finished the whole damn thing! Checking out Port of Call in New Orleans is a must, especially when you’re fucked up. ^_^

IMG_2304

We were surprisingly okay the next morning. Well, after that burger and they did let me sleep in, while they went out and got beignets..hehe. I seriously have the best girlfriends! The beignets were from Cafe Du Monde and there was a party in my mouth. After we got ready for the day, we hit up Monty’s for brunch. I had the best fried chicken ever!

IMG_2170

After we stuffed our faces and grabbed our Hurricane to-go drinks, we headed to the pier to make our way to the Plantation and Swamp Tours. The Plantation tour was very interesting to see, but our tour guide was freaking me out because she reminded of the evil old lady in American Horror Story and it didn’t help that there were stories of the of the place being haunted. The Swamp Tour was a good experience, but given the time we went it was close to the end of the season, therefore, we only got to baby alligators and turtles..haha.

IMG_2188

IMG_2200

IMG_2210IMG_2329

These two tours took all day and we didn’t get back until around 7pm. So of course, we were starving. With so many good restaurants around, we just walked until one caught our eye and the winner was Original Pierre Maspero’s. Bailey and I shared the Jambalaya plate and the seafood platter, which was so good. But, Diana’s Shrimp n Grits was fucking bomb there! We were hungry AF and that’s why I didn’t get a picture..oops, sorry guys! We ended up finding that Vampire Lounge and I had a good, strong ass absinthe drink. The spot is called Potions and I recommend checking it out as well. Our last night ended back at our place on the patio with wine, a cigar, beignets and singing Happy Birthday to Bae. ❤

Hurricane season is officially ova!

Goin’ Gorillaz #OOTN

Hiya Guys,

So, this past Wednesday night I got the chance to see the Gorillaz LIVE and they were beyond amazing!! This year I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to attend a lot of concerts and festivals. This show went straight to the top of being the best concert! They played all the classics and some newer songs from their most recent album called “Humanz”. I would definitely recommend seeing them in concert. I apologize in advance the not so great quality on the video. The next one will be better, I promise! To get the deets on my #ootn, just scroll down.

Hola Mi Gente,

Before summer comes to an end, I wanted to do a hot summer #OOTN look. The moment I saw this dress, I instantly had to have it. The colors, the pattern, that slit and for only $24.50!?..SOLD! Just remember to use the 50% coupon code at checkout. I finally got to wear it to learn some Salsa lessons, followed by drinks at Cityscape. This is absolutely my favorite dress right now. It was flowy, I felt so sexy in it and it was definitely a head turner. The salsa lessons were so much fun and I’m just glad I didn’t give anyone a concussion. 😉 But, I definitely recommend checking out Cityscape inside the Hilton in San Francisco. The view is spectacular, the atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are even better. ^_^ I hope you all have an incredible and safe Labor Day weekend! Talk soon.

Crazy for Cuco Puffs #OOTN

Hiya Guys! ^_^

I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Mine was well spent, but on Friday night the crew and I headed over to Rickshaw Stop to see Cuco perform. By the way, I love this venue when it comes to finding new talent/up and coming artists. But, I recently discovered his music and automatically fell in with “We Had to End it” because it gives me that 50’s old school Mexican vibe. The kid is young, but he’s got mad skills (Peep below). As far as my outfit, I wanted to be cute, but casual at the same time. This venue is more on the ordinary and grungy side, therefore you wouldn’t want to wear your hooker heels and hoochie dress to it. 😉 Also, I always prefer wearing a closed toe shoe when going to a concert. You know, just in case a drunky steps on me and murders my baby toe (Plenty of bad experiences). =( The deets on my outfit will be listed below as well. Until later loves!
